They are both still in business althought many things around them have changed. Originally, founded by Canadian Dave Fischer, Kokomoz has become a very popular hangout by local and internet marketing. It hosted many parties and infamous wet-t-shirt contests in the past. Today, it's more of a hangout on the corner of Fields and Santos Street. Their cuisine is not the number one in town, but their snacks like Fried Potatoes and French Fries are delicious and prices are ok.

The manager of this bar has been involved in many charity events giving underprivileged kids and people a new perspective and management has always been active in providing eduction to their staff about STDs. As for party people it's a place that is miss or hit. Some days it's hot, other days it's like a lake with dead fish.
